Had an amazing stay here. Great service overall, staff, food, car rental. Everything. Highly recommend staying here. Good inbetween Cote dor and Anse Lazio.

This is an ok place to stay for the price. The staff is very attentive and the place is clean. The air conditioning was just so-so and the fridge eventually got cold but it was an old model and the freezer worked better than the fridge. Overall I would recommend it for a short stay. Not a great beach and far from better beaches and shopping.

Excellent place directly on the beach. Great facilities easy to walk and take the bus. Great staff and restaurant. Highly recommend for a group or multiple people. We had 3 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. I only wish that the sea**** was raked and moved every morning as the beach was not really usable.

we stayed in the Banana Villa, the room was very nice and large with kitchen and patio with deck chairs and there was a stunning view of Anse Possession. The staff was super friendly and helpful and arranged for us an enjoyable excursion to Curieuse island to see the turtles. In addition, there is a free parking in front of it.

This place is very nice but it’s in organised Once they get better prepared it will be great.

The Sea View Lodge is a marvel. Our fully equipped self-catered apar**ent was nested in a tropical botanical garden rich in flowers, humming birds, geckos, bulbuls birds, warblers, myna birds, and big Seychelles tortoises. The lodge is safe. It also has a swimming pool, little bar and restaurant. All with a stunning view the bay. Sometimes, we sat by the sea on their beach chairs for sunset. We went snorkelling around the corner on the right of the bay. They was some nice coral and a wide variety of fish. We also went for walks up the hill or sometimes along the little road. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The beds are comfy and the white sheets nice and clean. We cooked in the kitchen as if we were at home and used washing machine. The owner, Barry, is a personality. He cares lovingly of his little paradise. We were very happy and felt at home away from our home. Some guests came to stay for weeks and months. Possession beach is a small quiet fisherman’s beach. No crowds, beach boys, shops and noisy tourist restaurants here. That’s why we staid there. A little road runs along the beach. The inexpensive public bus can take you to Anse Lazio beach or to Côte d’Or beach, the two main white sand swimmable beaches on this side of the island. The same bus can take you to the national park or the other side of the island. For more freedom and to visit the island, we rented a small car directly from the hotel. All reliable, friendly and simple. We went shopping in the local little grocery shop called Heyday about 2 km away. They had all we needed. For us, this place is a discovery, a new home, and we feel blessed for the time spent there.

The stay at Sea View Lodge was a big dissapoin**ent in all senses. The accomodation is old, worn out, dark, half broken, kitchen full of insects and ants. Our vila was right down next to the road, right in the curve where everybody was speeding to go up and hitting the brakes to go down. It felt like sleeping on the road... With 3 kids having a room right next to a road is crazy! Beside the road , the beach in front is a just a terrible beach, probably the only terrible one on paradise Praslin. There is a plastic table and plastic sun beds next to it where you do not want to sit down. At night they put a dodgy blue light on it. You really do not want to spend your time in this place. We were leaving early morning and returning late night as we didn't want to spend any time here. We even tried to change accommodation but at this time of year there was barely availability on the island anymore. You do not want to use the pool, nor you want to eat here. The managers/owners are not superhosts. They do not care about their guests. In 4 days they never passed by to ask if we need anything, never offered anything, not even fruit from the garden. The only question was if we are going to do the snorkel trip to Curiouse island (we did it with another company) and that we should have breakfast or dinners here because there are no restaurants nearby... Not true, 5min drive is Anse Volbert with the best options on the island. We literally lived during the days at Cafe des Arts and their beach. I should have listened to my intuition from the beginning.... Communication was difficult and extremely brief from the beginning on and prior to our trip. I had to resend the same questions many times. It is not a nice place. I cannot not recommend it. It partly ruined our stay at the incredible island of Praslin. I am sure there must be many better options on the island.
